Membership in the Order of the Eastern Star (OES) is comprised of dedicated women and men who sincerely reflect the spirit of Fraternal Love with a desire to work together for the good of humanity.
The Order of the Eastern Star was designed to serve among women the same purpose as that of Free Masonry among men, and to provide the Free Masons with co-operation of women kindred without accepting them into the Lodge.

International Masons, was founded upon those Christian principles that denied no person the right to fraternalism, regardless of race, color or creed. The cardinal principles of this organization are to appeal to its membership in such a manner as to:
