Thought for the Day: Qualifications Are Necessary That The Assignment Might Be Properly Fulfilled
Reflection for the Day: Every Task Is Not For Everybody As the church continued to grow, the responsibilities of the Apostles were stretched beyond their ability to meet all the demands. Recognizing the need for help, they directed the brethren to choose seven men to serve. A detailed and inclusive criteria was presented that those chosen were to meet. Qualifications were essential, if the assignment was to be properly fulfilled. Unfortunately, in today's church, individuals are chosen to fulfill assignments that they are not qualified to handle. Their gifts and perhaps personality would be better suited in a different area. It is important that there is an understanding of the task and what is needed to properly fulfill it before asking one to go forward. Every task is not for everybody.
