Reflection for the Day: Where Is Your Focus?
Those that have experienced the joy of salvation are expected, by the Lord, to set their affections upon things above. There should not be a constant shifting of attention from heavenly to earthly things. It is God who did the saving and it is He who should have their attention.
Do you find yourself shifting from your focus, moving from the things of God to that which is earthly? If this is what is occurring, a decision should be made to “set” your attention upon those things which are above and not to be moved. What is set is set.
