Peter reminds his readers of the importance of remaining sober and vigil. Knowing that Satan is continuously seeking to destroy the saints of God, it is essential to remain in the Word. It is there that one has the assurance of remaining safe from the attacks of the enemy.
As we live our lives, we are presented countless opportunities to compromise the Word of God. Satan dresses them up to look attractive and seeks to make one feel God would not mind with what the enemy offers. Your victory is found in the Word. Stay sober, stay vigil and enjoy all that God intends for your life.
