Reflection for the Day: Stay Focused On God; He Is Yet In Control
The ministry of Jesus created much concern for the Chief Priests. They witnessed a great number of their followers now turning to Jesus for direction. To stop this from going further, in partnership with the elders and scribes, they sought to kill him. What they did not understand was that God was yet in control and all that did occur was according to His plan.
The scripture reminds us that the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy. His attacks are not without intent. He has a plan in place to destroy your walk with God. What he doesn’t understand is that regardless of how strong his plan may appear God remains in control. The attacks that come will be used by the Lord to bring you to a place He has chosen for you. Stay focused on God; He is yet in control.
