Reflection for the Day: Before Acting; Give Thought To Others
As mature Saints, our behavior must give thought to the impact of what we say and do has on others. With humility, we must recognize the needs of others equal to our own needs. As we do, we will be functioning with the same mind that Jesus did. “Others matter”.
Human nature tends to look initially for the impact our choices have on self. It is only after we consider self that we give thought to others. As we move from the natural to the spiritual, we must realize that this is not the manner of behavior that pleases God. Others must be considered equal to self. Our behavior must take that into consideration.
