Genesis 15:5-6 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Thought for the Day: Your Future Is Brighter Than It May Appear
Reflection for the Day: God's Plans For You Will Be Fulfilled
Abram's concerns were brought before the Lord. Though he was promised that he would be the father of many nations, he had no seed. The Lord responded by having Abram look at the stars which filled the sky. As the stars could not be counted, for they were multiple, nor would his seed for they would be as great. His future appeared bleak but it would be brighter than he could imagine.
As you travel towards your future, there may times in which all looks bleak. You need not allow that to discourage you. Regardless of what might appear, God's plan for you will be fulfilled. Your future is brighter than what you think.
