Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Reflection for the Day: It Is Our Reasonable Service
Paul’s requests of the brethren is a petition to all that seek to follow Christ. He is asking for a complete presentation of one’s life to the Lord. His requests has been made realizing that it will require a sacrifice. In as much that the Lord gave his life, a total surrender is simply a reasonable service.
A sacrifice indicates that one has chosen to put aside something of value that something of more importance might be gained. In your walk with the Lord, choices will become necessary. At times a sacrifice will be needed, but be assured that what you give up will be replaced with something more valuable.
