Reflection for the Day: You Are In The Midst Of Being Shaped
The first verse informs us that all things work for good to those that love God and are called according to His purpose. The things that are referred to are a part of the shaping process, which is intended to form you to be Christlike. You did not stumble into salvation, you were in God’s plan from the beginning.
In this New Year as you look at your life you may wonder how did I get to where I am. Your steps were not your own but directed by the Lord. As He brought you to the knowledge of who He is, you are now being shaped to be like Him. You were in God’s plan from the beginning. Your shaping will result in His ability to use you for His purpose.
