Joshua 5:12 And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

Reflection for the Day: Your Challenges Are Preparing You For Promises That Await You
For forty years Israel journeyed in the wilderness eating only of the manna that God provided. Their journey was a challenging one but it was one that led them to their place of promise. After observing the Passover for the first time in Canaan, they would now eat of the milk and honey that flowed freely in their new home. The challenges they faced prepared them to receive the promises that God intended for their lives.
Each child of God experiences a personal wilderness journey. It is a season that does have challenges but in the midst of the challenges, they are provided lessons which demonstrate God’s ability to provide. You may find yourself currently in a wilderness but be assured that God is taking you to your place of promise. Your manna shall soon be replaced with milk and honey.
